At ScholarshipCoach.com, we think in terms beyond traditional click-through advertising.
Instead, we develop individualized sponsorship packages and work closely with
our corporate partners to determine the best possible mechanisms for communicating
their desired messages. Such packages may include traditional banner ad placement,
but also often involves many other elements of our online and offline projects
(including live events, media appearances, and marketing campaigns).
Here’s an example of how an online sponsorship package might work: Interested
corporate partners who wish to reach a select group of students, parents, guidance
counselors, and school administrators would sponsor specific sections of our site
(such as the “Additional Loans,” “College Savings Plans,”
and “Sports Scholarship” sections). We would work with the sponsor
to integrate their messages, logos, links and branding seamlessly throughout the
section.
At the core of our philosophy is that advertising should add to the user experience,
not detract from it. Much in the same way that the advertising in your favorite
magazine can be a helpful service by connecting you with products you actually
want, we seek to add value to ScholarshipCoach.com users through our corporate
sponsors. Of special interest to us are those sponsors who have products and services
that are consistent with our mission of helping students and families take charge
of their educational and financial futures.
Because we accept only a select number of such partners, our sponsors are also
able to communicate their messages clearly and concisely without being drowned
out by the crowd noise. Likewise, we don’t inundate site visitors with intrusive
ads or never-ending pop-up windows. Such an approach, we have found, doesn’t
benefit the sponsor because it only causes users to “tune out.” As
a result, many of our past sponsors have reported much higher success rates than
other forms of advertising.
If you are interested in becoming a ScholarshipCoach.com sponsor—or are from
an advertising or marketing firm who represents potential sponsors—we would love
to hear from you. We’d also be interested to hear your ideas and suggestions,
and are always open-minded about any potential proposal.
Please send us an e-mail and include the following information:
- Your phone number, fax number, and mailing address
- The product(s) and service(s) you’re looking to market
- The target demographic you’re trying to reach
We look forward to hearing from you!
